Tryouts dates for the 2026-27 season are below.

 

Girls' teams - Monday July 6th and Tuesday July 14th.

 

5pm to 6.30pm - U9 to U13.

6.30pm to 8pm U14 + older.

 

Boys' teams - Tuesday July 7th and Monday July 13th.

 

5pm to 6.30pm - U9 to U13.

6.30pm to 8pm U14 + older.

 

All tryouts will be at the Tree Farm in Essex Jct and registration will open in June.

US Youth Soccer is transitioning back to school grade for age groups for the 2026-27 season.

 

This is a nationwide process and the age groups for the 2026-27 season are above.

 

Alignment with Standards: US Youth Soccer is transitioning to an "on-grade" policy to better align with school-year levels. Nordic will adopt this "on-grade" policy, making it easier for kids to play alongside their classmates.

 

Building Strong Teams: To make sure players get a spot on a full, competitive squad, we’ll remain flexible with team assignments based on total turnout and Nordic reserves the right for roster flexibility based on registration numbers.

 

Developmental Placement/The Best Fit for Every Player: Players will try out with their own age group; however, we may discuss the interest in a player being rostered to an older age group if there is a need for an additional player, and there is a skill set alignment that benefits their development, the organization and the teams affected.
