Nordic Soccer Club Sideline Etiquette

Nordic Soccer Club Sideline Etiquette

Parents and fans understand that once the game begins, their role is to support the athletes and the coaches. Parents/fans are not to interfere or undermine, in any way, the play of the game, including comments and abuse to the referee.  Please remember that players feed off the energy that you give them from the sideline - keep it positive, encouraging and uplifting (even in hard moments).

Support the player, do not coach the game.

Nordic is committed to modeling positive behavior and holding a high standard, including sideline behavior by our own coaches and players.

Parents who "sideline coach” and/or act in an unsportsmanlike manner risk being asked to leave the field of play.  Further action may be taken if necessary.
