Deb Knakal to take over as Nordic Club Registrar

We are very happy to introduce Deb Knakal as the new Nordic Soccer Club Registrar.

Deb is a nurse by training and became involved in soccer when her children began playing the game.

Debbie went from Team Manager to Administrator for Camels Hump Soccer Club in 2007, a position she held for 10 years.

When her children moved from town soccer to Club soccer, Debbie moved as well, serving as a Team manager for all 3 of her children's Nordic Soccer teams.

Debbie's interest in fostering the growth of the sport inspired her to become active at the State and Regional Levels, working as Registrar for the Vermont Soccer Association from 2013 to 2018, and ODP Administrator from 2015 to 2018.

Debbie lives in Richmond with her husband, former Nordic President Roger, and their youngest son, Jonathan.

You are likely to see her daughter, Sarah, on the field as she follows her passion for the game as a referee. Due to an injury, their oldest child, Alex, can no longer play nor referee and is currently working towards obtaining his Paramedic Certification.

In her role as Registrar, Deb will oversee and manage league and tournament applications for all Nordic teams, update team rosters and player passes in various registration platforms as well as player registration and payment fees in Demosphere.

Deb will also provide oversight for Team Managers and administrative staff.
