Ryan Sheredy

Assistant Coach - 2008BP

Ryan is the assistant coach for our 2008BP. Hailing from Jeffersonville, Vermont, Ryan grew up playing for Nordic; starting from the age of 9 through U19. As a Business Administration major at UVM, he went on to play club soccer, as well as two seasons with the Vermont Voltage in the USL PDL. To this day, Ryan continues to play in multiple men’s leagues, including VASL, Elite 11, and Elite 8.

After his time at the Vermont Voltage, Ryan entered the coaching world and worked for four years as an assistant men’s coach at Johnson State College, as well as the Lamoille Union High School Varsity and JV boy’s teams. Outside of the soccer world, Ryan is the Executive Director of the Smugglers’ Notch Ski and Snowboard Club. He has coached alpine ski racing for 15 years, working with athletes from eight to 22 years of age, and has had the privilege to grow up racing against current and past US Ski Team athletes and Olympians. Ryan holds a US Ski and Snowboard level 300 coaches license, as well as level 3 Technical Delegate and Chief of Race Certification.

Looking forward, Ryan is excited to get involved once more with his former soccer club and apply the lessons he’s learned during his years of coaching to shape another generation of elite athletes.
